OnePlus has been teasing the OnePlus 7 recently with a launch date of 14 May.
Today OnePlus released a video captioned "Waterproof ratings for phones cost you money. We just bought a bucket." This clearly states that the new OnePlus 7 series will not have any kind of waterproof ratings but they will be waterproof. But in the video there is also a disclaimer reading "Products not IP certified. Water resistant under optimal test conditions. OnePlus makes no guarantees regarding water/liquid resistance. Water/liquid damage not covered under product warrenty" following with a link to the terms of sales.
So from the advertisement we can clearly make out that OnePlus is encouraging the customers to dunk the phones in water but will not take any responsibility if damage is incurred.
Also there is a hashtag of OnePlus7series which means that there will be launch of more than one phone.
